Prime minister of Vietnam paid a visit to Dr. Sun Yat-sen’s Mausoleum

On April 26, a senior delegation of government headed by Nguyễn Tấn Dũng, prime minister of The Socialist Republic of Vietnam, paid a visit to Dr. Sun Yat-sen’s Mausoleum.

At the invitation of Chinese government, Nguyễn Tấn Dũng came to China to attend Shanghai World Expo. He visited Jiangsu Province by the way. Jiangsu Province and Vietnam enjoy a desirable foundation of cooperation. In 1995, Jiangsu set up a relationship of friendly cooperation with Dong Nai Province of Vietnam. In 1998, both parties entered into an agreement under which they began to regard each other as a friendly province. Since then, both parties have been conducting highly effective exchanges and cooperation with each other in such fields as economy & trade, science & technology, education and tourism.

In addition, it is reported that Nguyễn Tấn Dũng will attend the Forum of Cooperation in Economy and Trade between China (Jiangsu)---Vietnam in Nanjing today. (Written by Cheng Yan; edited by this website)
